Greek, Serbian foreign ministers extend condolences over deadly nightclub fire

Skopje, 16 March 2025 (MIA) - The Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis expressed Greece’s readiness to provide all necessary assistance, including rescue teams and medical assistance in a phone call Sunday with Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports.
According to the Greek Foreign Minister, in the phone call, Gerapetritis extended his condolences over the loss of lives in the tragic fire in Kochani and offered assistance.
The Serbian Foreign Ministry also extended condolences to the people and authorities in North Macedonia in a statement signed by Foreign Minister Marko Đurić.
“In the name of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, as well as my own name, I extend deep condolences to the people and authorities in the Republic of North Macedonia that happened last night at the ‘Puls’ nightclub in Kochani and claimed dozens of lives. Serbia stands with brotherly North Macedonia in these difficult moments, sharing the pain and sorrow over the unprecedented tragedy,” the statement said, adding that Serbia is ready to provide all necessary support and aid.
