Skopje, 17 February 2023 (MIA) - We are satisfied with the commitment of the working group to amend the laws for easier procurement of medications, the president of the Cystic Fibrosis Association Fiki Gaspar told MIA, after Friday's meeting at the Ministry of Health.

“The working group comprised of representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Health Insurance Fund, from public procurement bureau, as well as from the government, acts quickly and dedicatedly. Work is underway to change the three laws. As an Association, this is what we were looking for and for the time being, we believe that the process will have a positive outcome,” Gaspar said.

He reiterated that they are working on a systemic solution, not only for them, but also for other problems like theirs.

“I hope that there will not be many obstacles and that soon a draft law will be defined that will be introduced to the Parliament,” Gaspar said.
