Finance Minister Besimi to attend IMF/World Bank Constituency meeting in Sarajevo
Skopje, 14 September 2022 (MIA) – Finance Minister Fatmir Besimi is to take part in the meeting of the IMF and the World Bank Group Constituency that will be held in Sarajevo.
The meeting will focus on most important issue “From crisis to recovery,” whereat Minister Besimi will deliver a presentation and invited by the host will moderate the session entitled “Winter is coming: energy security, transition and cooperation,” Ministry of Finance said in a press release.
Within the IMF and the World Bank Group Constituency, Minister Besimi will hold meetings with the World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Anna Bjerde, World Bank Group Executive Director Koen Davidse as well as with the Director of the European Department at the International Monetary Fund Alfred Kammer.
Minister Besimi is also scheduled to hold bilateral meeting with Dutch Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sigrid Kaag.
The event will be attended by senior representatives of the IMF and the World Bank Group, as well as governors of central banks, including the governor Anita Angelovska Bezhoska and ministers of finance.
