Skopje, 23 April 2024 (MIA) - The average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2024 was Mden 39.276, up by 16.5 percent compared to February 2023, according to a State Statistical Office press release.

This increase is due to the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (24.9%), Administrative and support service activities (22.5%) and Arts, entertainment and recreation (20.4%).

A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Transportation and storage (10.1%), Mining and quarrying (7.2%) and Agriculture, forestry and fishing (6.3%).

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February 2024 was Mden 58.967.
