Skopje, 23 March 2023 (MIA) - Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) Sales will procure the April gas quantities for the Skopje heating plants and other consumers from company "Makpetrol" at a fixed price of EUR 53.6 per MWh.

"Two offers arrived at the call we released. Makpetrol offered a fixed price of EUR 53.6 per MWh while Bulgaria's Balkan Utilities offered EUR 53.7 per MWh," ESM Sales said in a press release on Thursday.

It adds that Maketrol was selected as the gas supplier for the month of April because of the lowest fixed price.

The procurement will fully meet the gas needs for heating energy production in Skopje and other consumers in North Macedonia. Citizens can be calm and expect continued heating supply in April, said ESM Sales.
