Finance Minister to take part at Economic and Financial Dialogue of EU and partners

Skopje, 13 May 2025 (MIA) - Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska will take part Tuesday at the annual Economic and Financial Dialogue between the European Union and regional partners, Western Balkan countries, Türkiye, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
The focus of this year’s meeting will be Europe’s competitiveness in the context of current geopolitical developments and the need to simplify the legal framework in order to reduce the administrative burden of the companies, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.
In that context, the Minister will touch upon the reforms accepted by the Macedonian Government in the field of improving the competitiveness of the economy with the goal of accelerating economic growth.
The Annual Economic and Financial Dialogue in Brussels will be attended by representatives of EU member states, the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the European Investment Bank, as well as finance ministers and central bank governors from the Western Balkan countries, Türkiye, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
The Ministry added that the meeting will adopt joint conclusions that will serve as a basis for creating policies and implementing reforms on the country’s path to complete Euro-integration. ad/ik/
