Skopje, 29 January 2024 (MIA) - Elena Petrova took office on Monday as additional Deputy Minister of Finance in the new caretaker Government and was welcomed by Finance Minister Fatmir Besimi and Deputy Finance Minister Filip Nikoloski.

Minister Besimi met with Nikolovski and Petrova, wishing her welcome and success in her work, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.

"This is the first meeting after the election of a new caretaker Government, taking place in a constructive atmosphere, where interlocutors discussed activities and upcoming plans at the Ministry of Finance," the press release reads. ssh/ik/
