Electricity price increased by 3.9% in first half of 2023

Skopje, 2 October 2023 (MIA) - The average electricity price for households in the Republic of North Macedonia was 6.737 denars/KWh in the first semester of 2023, which represents an increase of 3.9% compared to the second semester of 2022, State Statistical Office data show.
The average electricity price without value added tax for non-household consumers is between 6.980 and 11.744 denars/KWh by consumer bands.
The average price of natural gas without value added tax for non-household consumers is between 40.357 and 57.790 denars/nm3 by consumer bands.
The average retail price of natural gas for households is 69.614 denars/nm3.
