Skopje, 24 April 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Thursday with Brice Roquefeuil, Head of the Directorate for Continental Europe of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and René Troccaz, Special Envoy for the Western Balkans.

FM Mucunski thanked the French officials for the country and EU's support after the Kochani nightclub fire, noting they reaffirm the European solidarity "that has strengthened our feeling of belonging to the Union," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Interlocutors referred to bilateral relations and future steps for enhancement of cooperation, with a focus on economic ties.

Mucunski saluted France's strong and active support to North Macedonia's EU integration process, as well as its role and that of European countries in strengthening the Union's credibility in the region, reads the press release.
