Skopje, 20 March 2023 (MIA) – The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) is holding a rally in Chair on Monday with the party leader Ali Ahmeti, Speaker Talat Xhaferi and government ministers from the ranks of DUI.

Ahead of the rally, Deputy PM Artan Grubi said he expects mass attendance. According to him, the rally is held in continuation of DUI gatherings held in other towns and municipalities, and the party will continue to hold rallies across the country. 

"Chair belongs to Ali Ahmeti and DUI," said Grubi, denying that it is a question of revanchism towards Izet Mexhiti from the "Fiery Group". He added that Mexhiti was invited at the rally.

Izet Mexhiti, who represents the so-called "fiery group" of DUI, said earlier that as president of the party's Chair banch he hasn't been invited at the rally. 

Monday's rally in Chair is the first large gathering to be addressed by Ahmeti since the rift within DUI.
