Zagreb, 2 July 2026 (Hina/MIA) — The tourism promotional film “CROATIA – I hear it’s beautiful” has received a sequel ahead of a key match for the national football team in the World Cup Round of 32, with captain Luka Modrić joining U.S. actor John Malkovich in the lead roles, the Croatian National Tourist Board said Thursday.

In the film “CROATIA – I hear it’s beautiful ft. Modrić & Malkovich”, the Hollywood actor of Croatian heritage, on the suggestion of the country’s most famous number 10, discovers first-hand the magical sound of the Sea Organ in Zadar.

“Through the humorous and engaging interaction between the two protagonists, the film highlights why Croatia enjoys the status of one of the world’s most desirable tourist destinations, emphasising that regardless of age or season, today, tomorrow or at any point in life, it is always the right time to visit Croatia,” the tourist board said.

The creative director of the sequel to the promotional film was Pete Radovich, an acclaimed television and sports producer of Croatian heritage, the board added.
