COVID-19: Nine new cases, no fatalities
Skopje, 7 July 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded nine new infections out of 2,743 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours. Of the new cases, six were registered in Tetovo, two in Gostivar and one in Ohrid. Ten coronavirus patients recovered and there were no fatalities in the same period, the Health Ministry said citing data of the Institute of Public Health. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 155,741 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,114 people have recovered. The death toll has reached 5,486. At the moment, there are 141 active cases nationwide, including 50 in the capital Skopje. A total of 897,647 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far in the country.
