Finance Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska meets Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat
- Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska held a meeting Monday with the Turkish Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, during which they established cooperation between the customs bodies of the two countries, renewed agreements for mutual cooperation and signed new memoranda of cooperation, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.

Skopje, 5 May 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska held a meeting Monday with the Turkish Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, during which they established cooperation between the customs bodies of the two countries, renewed agreements for mutual cooperation and signed new memoranda of cooperation, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.
The Ministry said the two countries are strengthening economic cooperation by securing more favorable conditions for cooperation.
“Macedonia and Türkiye enjoy excellent political and economic cooperation founded on numerous mutual agreements. Today at the meeting with Minister Bolat we spoke and agreed about the necessity of cooperation between the customs bodies of the two countries, in that context they will intensify their communication in the coming period. Additionally, we spoke about renewing mutual agreements in line with the new standards and recommendations, with the goal of improving the business environment, attracting investors and facilitating trade,” the Finance Minister said.
The Minister stressed the Government is committed to ensuring accelerated economic growth and intensifying cooperation with friendly countries, including Türkiye.
The meeting was held as part of the Minister’s working visit to Türkiye.
