COVID-19: 96 new cases, 37 recoveries, one fatality
Skopje, 28 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 96 new COVID-19 cases after 726 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, one death was reported, while 37 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 55 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 10, Kumanovo – 8, Tetovo – 6, Prilep – 4, Kavadarci – 2, Veles – 2, Ohrid – 2, Shtip – 2, Kriva Palanka – 2, Negotino – 1, Radovish – 1, and Bogdanci – 1.
One person died, from Prilep, aged 69. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, two patients from Skopje also passed away.
At the moment, 435 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,168,157 tests, recording 342,775 COVID-19 cases and 332,806 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,534.
