Skopje, 9 May 2025 (MIA) – On the occasion of Europe Day, May 9, Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, extended congratulations, highlighting that the day stands as a symbol of peace, unity and the common future of European nations.

“On behalf of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia and personally, I extend congratulations on this significant day, which reminds us of the importance of solidarity, cooperation and European values,” Gashi said.

He reaffirmed that the country’s EU path remains a key goal towards lasting development and prosperity for all citizens.

“Parliament reaffirms its active role in advancing reforms and harmonizing with European standards. May 9 be a reminder of our unwavering commitment to a European future,” Gashi noted in his message marking Europe Day. sk/
