COVID-19: 361 new cases, 433 patients recover, 8 die
Skopje, 10 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 361 new COVID-19 infections after 3,028 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, eight deaths and 433 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. Of the new cases, 166 were registered in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 41, Bitola – 30, Kavadarci – 22, Kochani – 14, Kumanovo – 12, Veles – 12, Tetovo – 8, Gevgelija – 6, Negotino – 5, Radovish – 5, Delchevo – 5, Kichevo – 4, Berovo – 4, Valandovo – 4, Makedonski Brod – 4, Strumica – 3, Gostivar – 2, Shtip – 2, Ohrid – 2, Bogdanci – 2, Pehchevo – 2, Kriva Palanka – 1, Probishtip – 1, Kratovo – 1, Demir Hisar – 1, Krushevo – 1, and Dojran – 1. Eight deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including four in Skopje (aged 61, 71, 71 and 83), three in Bitola (70, 74 and 84) and one in Kumanovo (47). Seven more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated Nov. 26 – Dec. 8, 2021. At the moment, 5,620 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,496,479 tests, recording 218,723 COVID-19 cases and 205,303 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,710.
