COVID-19: 185 new cases, 307 recoveries, one fatality
Skopje, 2 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 185 new COVID-19 cases after 892 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, one person died, while 307 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
Of the new cases, 96 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 13, Berovo – 8, Kavadarci – 7, Delchevo – 6, Kumanovo – 5, Tetovo, - 5, Gostivar – 5, Shtip – 5, Prilep – 4, Ohrid – 4, Kichevo – 4, Kochani – 3, Resen – 3, Sveti Nikole – 3, Kriva Palanka – 3, Veles – 2, Gevgelija – 2, Strumica – 1, Negotino – 1, Valandovo – 1, Probishtip – 1, Kratovo – 1, Bogdanci – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
One person died, from Skopje, aged 74. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, four persons died between August 3-25.
At the moment, 1,459 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,152,786 tests, recording 340,695 COVID-19 cases and 329,741 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,495.
