COVID-19: 135 new cases, 164 recoveries in past three days

Skopje, 6 June 2022 (MIA) – Out of 2,257 COVID-19 tests conducted over the past three days, North Macedonia registered 135 new infections, including 25 reinfections.
Also, 164 recoveries were recorded and no deaths were reported in the same period, the Health Ministry said Monday citing Public Health Institute data.
Of the new cases, Skopje registered 93, followed by Bitola – 8, Kavadarci – 8, Prilep – 3, Ohrid – 3, Shtip – 3, Strumica – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Veles – 2, Gostivar – 2, Negotino – 2, Tetovo – 1, Kichevo – 1, Sveti Nikole – 1, Debar – 1, Vinica – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
At the moment, 475 cases are active nationwide, including 311 in Skopje.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,060,554 tests, recording 312,292 COVID-19 cases and 302,508 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,309.
