COVID-19: 119 new cases, 257 patients recover, 3 die
Skopje, 27 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 119 new COVID-19 infections after 2,324 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, three deaths and 257 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Monday. Of the new cases, 87 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 7, Kavadarci – 6, Kumanovo – 4, Prilep – 3, Sveti Nikole – 2, Makedonski Brod – 2, Ohrid – 1, Shtip – 1, Strumica – 1, Kochani – 1, Struga – 1, Resen – 1, Demir Hisar – 1, Demir Kapija – 1. Three deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including one in Skopje (aged 71), one in Strumica (82) and one in Bitola (49). At the moment, 4,691 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,576,424 tests, recording 223,330 COVID-19 cases and 210,732 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,907.
