Skopje, 15 August 2023 (MIA) – The Bitola Regional Crisis Management Center said Tuesday that, based on the reports of firefighters on the ground, the wildfire that broke out Monday in the village of Debreshte and spread towards the village of Koshino is no longer active.

The Crisis Management Center said further spread of the wildfire was prevented Monday thanks to the intervention of the firefighters from the Territorial Firefighting Unit and the “National Forests” public enterprise in Prilep, as well as the three firefighting planes from the Protection and Rescue Directorate, and the help of the local population.
