Bytyqi and Spajic agreed that the Western Balkans is well-positioned to be recognized during the post-covid period as an attractive region for investments by companies from the area and big international corporations, due to its proximity to EU members and current processes, thus raising its competitiveness, the Deputy PM Office said in a press release.
They noted that higher minimum wages affect the people’s living standard and lead to increased wages in general.
Interlocutors also exchanged opinions over support provided to the economies and citizens in both countries during the covid-crisis, focusing on the health system, liquidity of the economy, keeping jobs, but also development projects for accelerated post-covid recovery, reads the press release.
