Skopje, 21 January 2025 (dpa/MIA) - The average monthly net wage paid per employee in November 2024 was Mden 41,999 (EUR 682), a 9.5-percent increase compared to the same month in the previous year, said the State Statistical Office on Tuesday.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation (15.3%), Transportation and storage (12.7%) and Manufacturing (11.2%).

A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (8.0%), Real estate activities (5.9%) and Agriculture, forestry and fishing (2.6%).
