Skopje, 16 January 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Defense released Tuesday a public call for 300 professional soldiers in the Army of North Macedonia.

The application deadline is seven days, including the following criteria: the applicant must be a Macedonian national, be over the age of 18, have a high school diploma, have specific health and physical capabilities, and be younger than 25 at the day of the deadline expiration.

The salary will amount to over Mden 31,000 (EUR 500), with further Mden 10,000 (EUR 170) provided for housing expenses.

Tests of the physical and health condition of candidates will be carried out by commissions set up by the Ministry of Defense.

Candidates who applied at prior calls and successfully passed all stages, but were not selected, are not subject to health and physical tests, provided the test was carried out over the past nine months.
