Skopje, 10 July 2025 (MIA) -- As part of the 46th Skopje Summer festival, the contemporary music ensemble Altus New Breath will give a concert at Salon 19:19.

According to organizers, the concert program includes a premiere performance of Angel Spiroski's "Wedding Dance on Mount Vlaina" as well as works by Darija Andovska, Mihajlo Trendafilovski, Pande Shahov, Tomislav Zografski and Filip Ivanov.

The ensemble will also perform "Dérive 1," a composition for instrumental ensemble by French composer Pierre Boulez, to mark his birth centenary.

Altus New Breath was formed in 2021 to popularize new classical music.

Its members are Gonca Bogomorova Krapovski (soprano), Elena Stojcheska (flute), Igor Ivanov (clarinet), Romain Petiot (guitar), Martin Dimitrov (violin), Aleksandar Laovski (viola), Paskal Krapovski (cello) and Marija Nikolovska (piano).

The ensemble's art director and conductor is Pascal Gallois. mr/
