Skopje, 10 February 2023 (MIA) — Alternativa will make known its position on whether it will remain in the government after the political party leadership convenes in Tetovo on Sunday at 4 pm to make their final decision.

“The Alternativa leaders are in permanent communication,” the party’s official Facebook page said. “We have carefully considered all the circumstances going against the principles the European coalition should be resting on. Especially how someone has underestimated our contribution 12 months ago to saving the ruling majority, electing Dimitar Kovachevski Prime Minister, and consequently ensuring the start of negotiations with the EU.”

They add they are thinking “soberly, without emotions” and are “completely aware of challenges ahead.”

“We reiterate that we will not fall into the trap being set for us. We will not leave even a minimum of room [for people saying] that Alternativa had any part in contributing to the processes that will inevitably follow,” the party wrote. mr/
