Skopje, 21 June 2022 (MIA) – Zoran Popov, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is set to be the new Ambassador of North Macedonia to the United States, said President Stevo Pendarovski on Tuesday. “The agrement for Mr. Zoran Popov came today. The U.S. has approved our nomination and I hope the Ambassador will assume his post by September,” President Pendarovski told TV24. The ambassadorial post in the U.S. has been vacant since 2018, when Vasko Naumovski’s term expired.
