Kumanovo, 8 May 2024 (MIA) - ZNAM Movement leader Maksim Dimitrievski cast his vote in Kumanovo on Wednesday.
"The Macedonian people show capacity in key moments, it is important to elect a President and define the next composition of the Parliament," Dimitrievski said after voting.
Congratulating citizens on the day and congratulating in advance to the one who'll get the citizens' support, he said the important thing is for democracy to win, for citizens to be united and have dignified representatives guided by the will of the people.
"I expect democracy to win today. Macedonia has been able many times before to make crucial decisions at crucial times," said Dimitrievski.
The ZNAM Movement leader said today was a calm day, noting that practice shows big surprises happen on such days.
In response to a reporter's question over a silent boycott by DUI, he pointed out that the country needs political stability and the citizens have already made a decision.
Dimitrievski added that he expects additional support for a third political force.
