Skopje, 30 April 2023 (MIA) - Association of Jazz Musicians and Free Artists (ZJM) is organising on Sunday the seventh edition of annual event Today It’s All About Jazz in Ibni Pajko Park in Skopje to celebrate International Jazz Day (April 30).

An all-day event will feature the following performances: Jazz for Kids and Youth; Quartet Aquarela; Nikola Bochvarov Quartet; Filip Dinev Trio feat. Tilman Oberbeck/Jan Zeimetz; ZJM Big Band - Zappa Project; Jure Pukl Organ trio feat. Marko Črnčec & Chris Smith and Adédèjì - “Yoruba Odyssey.”

In November 2011, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) officially designated April 30 as International Jazz Day in order to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe.

International Jazz Day is chaired and led by UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay and legendary jazz pianist and composer Herbie Hancock, who serves as a UNESCO Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue and Chairman of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz.
