Skopje, 12 June 2024 (MIA) – The Association of Local Self-Government Units of the Republic of North Macedonia (ZELS) will hold Wednesday the General Assembly’s sixth session to discuss ongoing challenges facing the local self-government units.

The delegates of ZELS’s top body, which includes all the mayors in the country and members of the ZELS Committee of Councils, will also review important reports on the Association’s activities, it has been announced. 

ZELS President Orce Gjorgievski will address the session as well as the PM-designate Hristijan Mickoski, who has accepted the Association’s invitation to present the commitments of the future government aimed at securing mutual cooperation to improve the decentralization process and provide better financial stability of the municipalities, said ZELS.
