Kiev, 11 July 2025 (MIA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he has been promised new arms deliveries from the United States and European allies.

"According to all reports, the (suspended) arms deliveries have been resumed," Zelensky said in a video message on Friday.

Talks on military support are planned for next week with, amongst others, US special envoy Keith Kellogg.

"We are also preparing new European arms packages," Zelensky said. He also expects "strong steps" regarding new sanctions against Russia.

Last week, the US briefly imposed a partial halt on arms deliveries that had already been promised. Ukraine has been fighting a Russian invasion with Western help for more than three years.
