Skopje, 27 October 2021 (MIA) – Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev urged Wednesday the people of Demir Kapija to vote for the party at this weekend’s runoff. “We have to confirm progress on October 31. Demir Kapija and all other municipalities should move forward, let’s continue on the path of progress,” said Zaev. He said this is not only a fight between SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE but a struggle to secure the country’s future and the path of every municipality. “In only four years we raised salaries, pensions and welfare, the unemployment rate has dropped to 15.9 percent, the country is a NATO member and our Macedonian identity is recognized by the entire world. We did all of this in only four years, with the last 20 months amid a pandemic. We have to be united and wise on October 31, let’s not allow Demir Kapija and the country go back, there is no new future with VMRO-DPMNE,” said Zaev. Earlier, SDSM held rallies in Gevgelija and Rosoman.
