Skopje, 12 April 2023 (MIA) – The Director of the Agency for Youth and Sport (AYS), Naumche Mojsovski, has filed a defamation lawsuit against the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC), said SCPC President Biljana Ivanovska at a session Wednesday.

The lawsuit, according to the President, accuses the Commission of publicly revealing information about the AYS Director.

“This concerns a case that we have been working on continuously for two years. We fully analyzed the operations of the AYS, and forwarded our recommendations to the director, which were not realized,” said Ivanovska.

SCPC member Vladimir Georgiev indicated that the information in the Commission’s report on the AYS Director are based on facts related to his work provided by the AYS or other relevant institutions.

On the other hand, SCPC member Nuri Bajrami pointed out that he does not understand how an official failed to note that the Commission’s sessions are public and that perhaps the Commission is more transparent than what is provided by the law.
