Skopje, 18 June 2024 (MIA) - From Wednesday to Sunday the country will be under the influence of stable and very warm air mass from the south, leading to sunny and above average warm temperatures for this time of the year. Daytime temperatures everywhere will hit over 30ºC, and some places even 40ºC, the National Hydrometeorological Service said in a press release.

"According the National Hydrometeorological Service's predicted and calculated limit values for extreme temperatures, the yellow alert will be active around the country as of tomorrow, while the orange alert for extremely high temperatures will be active in the Skopje and Polog basin. Due to the further rise of temperatures, the orange alert will be active across the country as of Thursday," the press release reads.
