Skopje, 10 April 2024 (MIA) – Caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi sent greetings on Wednesday on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram to the head of the Islamic Religious Community, Reis-ul-Ulema Shaqir Fetai, and to the Islamic faithful.

“I wish Ramadan Bayram to bring health, peace, prosperity, and harmony in the soul, in the family, in the country. It is a holiday that unites families, loved ones, friends, throughout the centuries, conveying the valuable message that only shared happiness brings true joy,” Xhaferi said.

It is a holiday, as Xhaferi noted, that fosters solidarity and spiritual strength among people for mutual respect, patience, and understanding, as the only path to the desired peace.

"I wish you good health and strength to carry out the noble mission you have, to guide the followers of the Islamic faith on the right and honest path. And we, as politicians, will strongly support the building of our common state, fulfilling the rights and obligations of every community, to continue the successful story of a multi-ethnic state in the region, which has proven to be extremely necessary for the family of European countries in this time of global challenges," Xhaferi said.
