Skopje, 15 April 2024 (MIA) - Caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi met with Albania’s President Bajram Begaj on the sidelines of the International Forum for Women, Peace, and Security (WPS Forum) in Kosovo on Monday, the Government said in a press release. 

Interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the continued political dialogue between North Macedonia and Albania, as well as the development of the bilateral relations. The two highlighted commitment to good neighbourly relations.  

Xhaferi and Begaj stressed that North Macedonia and Albania, as NATO allies, stand ready to deepen mutual cooperation in order to make a more active contribution to the prosperity, stability and security of the region and the Euro-Atlantic community. 

In addition, the two exchanged views on the European integration, as well as continuing the reform processes in the two countries.
