Skopje, 16 November 2023 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi is to take part in the 11th meeting of Speakers of Parliaments of Southeast European countries held Thursday and Friday in Budapest.

The Hungarian National Assembly continues its tradition of hosting a high-profile parliamentary meeting every two years, focusing on the full European integration of Western Balkan countries.

Parliament Speaker Xhaferi is to deliver remarks on the topic related to the process of European Integration in Southeastern Europe, parliament said in a press release.

Furthermore, the Speakers of the Parliaments of the Republic of Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina have affirmed their participation in the meeting. European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement, Oliver Várhelyi, is slated to deliver remarks during the event.
