Skopje, 23 September 2021 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi will take part at the 10th Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments of Southeast European Countries, dedicated to European Union enlargement, in Budapest on Friday. The meeting will also include the presidents of the parliaments of the Visegrad Group countries, the Parliament said in a press release. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi, and Hungarian Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover will deliver the opening remarks, followed by the addresses of SEE speakers, including Xhaferi. Participants also set to sign a joint statement that will be forwarded to the national parliaments of European Union member-states and leaders of European institutions.
