Women Economic Forum – Balkans 2024 held in Skopje
- Skopje on Wednesday and Thursday will host the Women Economic Forum – Balkans 2024. Accomplished leaders from Portugal, India, Egypt, Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia at panels and debates will share ideas and the best practices for addressing joint challenges.
Skopje, 2 October 2024 (MIA) – Skopje on Wednesday and Thursday will host the Women Economic Forum – Balkans 2024. Accomplished leaders from Portugal, India, Egypt, Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia at panels and debates will share ideas and the best practices for addressing joint challenges.
The event brings together 270 leaders, entrepreneurs, activists, researchers and academics. It aims at improving the position of women in the modern society through economic strengthening, reducing gender inequality and stimulating women’s leadership.
Having a rotating base, the forum’s seat is changed every two years in a different Western Balkan country. It is organized by the Association of Women Managers ELIT in Skopje and the G100 in Macedonia under the global franchise of Women Economic Forum (WEF) and the G100 Mission.
The forum will see addresses by President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, National Bank Governor Anita Angelovska – Bezhoska and Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources. Sanja Bozhinovska.
