Vučić - Siljanovska Davkova phone call: Together in Prohor Pchinjski monastery on Ilinden

Belgrade, 23 July 2024 (MIA) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić spoke over the phone Tuesday with North Macedonia's counterpart Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, agreeing on a joint visit to the Prohor Pchinjski monastery on Republic Day-Ilinden, MIA reports from Belgrade.
"Friendly discussion with President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova on the most important aspects of our bilateral, and primarily economic relations, as well as Serbia and North Macedonia's place on the EU enlargement agenda and mutual support on the EU path. The President of North Macedonia thanked Serbia for its support in the fire extinguishing efforts, while I highlighted the importance of regional cooperation and the fact that we can help each other in the best and fastest way. We agreed that we visit Prohor Pchinjski monastery together on Ilinden, another excellent opportunity for further strengthening of ties between our two nations," Vučić wrote in an Instagram post.
Vučić also invited Siljanovska Davkova to visit Serbia in order to raise mutual cooperation to a higher level.
