Shtip, 13 June 2025 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE's executive committee named eight more mayoral candidates for the upcoming local elections during a meeting Friday in Shtip.  

Executive committee member Antonio Miloshoski said the committee decided to propose incumbent mayors of Makedonski Brod and Mogila, Zharko Risteski and Dragancho Sabotkovski, as its candidates for the two municipalities. The party also named Toni Tonevski as their candidate for Probishtip mayor, Marjan Peev for Bogdanci, Natalija Dimitrieva for Demir Kapija, Gjorgi Krstevski for Rosoman, Stevche Stevanovski for Novaci, and Zlatko Siljanovski for Debarca.

“We believe that these eight candidates are responsible and dedicated individuals who have demonstrated their activities not only within the VMRO-DPMNE coalition but also enjoy strong reputations within their respective municipalities,” Miloshoski said.

The committee also appointed the party’s secretary-general Gjorgjia Sajkoski head of the republican election headquarters, leading the campaign for the local elections.
