Skopje, 17 October 2021 (MIA) – Opposition VMRO-DPMNE has said after the end of voting for Sunday’s local polls that Election Day saw irregularities, violations of the electoral process and corruptive actions by the authorities. VMRO-DPMNE hopes for good results and expects larger turnout in the runoff. “We have registered irregularities, violations of the electoral process and corruptive actions by the authorities. Election silence was broken, there was intimidation, pressure and blackmail by office holders, abuse of state resources for partisan purposes,” VMRO-DPMNE MP Mile Lefkov told the press conference.
