Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) — The larger the turnout the stronger the changes, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said after voting for President at a polling station in Dimo Hadzhi Dimov Elementary in Skopje's Karposh Municipality.
"Today is a special, beautiful sunny day, a day when citizens should go out and vote, when all the power is in the hands of the citizens," Mickoski said.
"Those few hundred who used to decide the citizens' fate are now silent letters.
"Today, citizens are the ones deciding the future of their families, the future of Macedonia and their children.
"That's why my message today is to go out and vote. Everyone should take ten minutes of their time to decide the future of their children, their family and of Macedonia," he said.
Encouraging a massive turnout, the VMRO-DPMNE leader called on voters to go to the polls to "set the trajectory we will move along together." mr/
