Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) – Vlen has declared a first-round victory in several municipalities, including Chair, Saraj, Bogovinje, Tearce, Zhelino, and Arachinovo. According to the spokesperson of Vlen’s election HQ, Driton Sulejmani, results show “a clear support for new, honest, and responsible politics”.

“Today, the citizens spoke clearly, with a free voice and a clear conscience, they put an end to an era of deception and fear, opening the path to a new, honest, and responsible politics close to the people,” Suljemani said at the press conference.

Sulejmani sharply criticized NAI leaders Ali Ahmeti, Arben Taravari, and Ziadin Sela, accusing them of trying to hold the Albanians “hostage” for months by referring to the elections as a referendum.

“They tried to turn fear into a cause, deception into patriotism, and panic into politics. But the Albanians were not deceived. They know this scenario well, have seen it many times, and have now definitively rejected it,” Suljemani said.

Vlen said the party will enter the second round as a favorite in Tetovo, Debar, Brvenica, Dolneni, and Struga.

Sulejmani ended the press conference with the message that this is not a victory of individuals.

“This is not a victory of individuals, this is your victory, a victory of the people who chose dignity over fear, work over words, and hope over deception. We in Vlen understand this message as a duty, a responsibility we will carry with integrity. The change that began a year ago received your seal tonight, and from tomorrow it will continue even stronger, fairer, and closer to the people,” the Vlen spokesperson stressed.
