Skopje, 18 April 2023 (MIA) – New Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) director Vasko Stefanov took office on Tuesday at a handover ceremony with former director Vasko Kovachevski.

Stefanov and Kovachevski wished each other success and an efficient tackling of upcoming challenges.

“It’s a great honor to be named new ESM director. Today I had a productive meeting with former director Vasko Kovachevski. Transparently and with dedication, ESM will continue to prepare for the next heating season,” said Stefanov.

Vasko Stefanov was appointed as the new president of ESM’s Management Board and ESM director general, after Vasko Kovachevski resigned earlier in April.

Stefanov comes to the post with prior experience as director of JSC Water Economy and the Post Office of North Macedonia.
