  • European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi has congratulated VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski on the victory in Wednesday's parliamentary elections.

Brussels, 9 May 2024 (MIA) – European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi has congratulated VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski on the victory in Wednesday's parliamentary elections.  

"Congratulated Hristijan Mickoski for the landslide victory. We are ready to work together to take the EU accession process of North Macedonia to the next level," Várhelyi posted on the X platform. 

Previously, Várhelyi congratulated Gordana Siljanovska Davkova on her victory in the presidential elections.
