Skopje, 11 March 2024 (MIA) - As of Monday, the State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate will launch extraordinary inspections and and issue bans for kindergarten admission of children who are not fully vaccinated against the whooping cough (pertussis).

The Inspectorate will proceed upon the decision by Health Minister Ilir Demiri, based on the recommendations of the Commission for Infectious Diseases.

In addition, managers of pre-school institutions will be tasked with drafting a list of all unvaccinated children.
