Unemployment rate at 12.3 percent in Q3: statistics
Skopje, 6 December 2024 (MIA) - The unemployment rate in the third quarter of 2024 was 12.3 percent, the State Statistical Office said on Friday.
The workforce in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 796,733 persons, of whom 698,411 were employed, while 98,322 were unemployed persons. The activity rate in this period was 52.6 percent while the employment rate was 46.1 percent.
