The meeting outlined the activities of the Economic Chamber within the project and survey results on the exposure of companies to corrupt requests from the public sector in 2023. Participants discussed trainings for business integrity, as part of the project, including the establishment of a system of integrity in companies, alignment with international and European standards, the application of measures to prevent corruption and the promotion of an ethical business environment, the Economic Chamber said in a press release.

The document, which provides for meetings between representatives of the two institutions, with the possibility of involving companies that are members of the Chamber and other relevant institutions dealing with prevention of corruption, was signed by Economic Chamber head Branko Azeski and SCPC chairwoman Tatjana Dimitrovska.

This framework of cooperation includes participation in working groups for the change of legislation and other regulation in the field of prevention of corruption and conflict of interest, as well as participation in the drafting of a new national strategy for the prevention of corruption and implementation of its activities.
