Ukraine’s Independence Day to be marked in Skopje
Skopje, 24 August 2022 (MIA) – The Embassy of Ukraine and the Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of North Macedonia “Lesya Ukrainka” will mark on Wednesday Ukraine’s Independence Day – August 24.
According to the Ukrainian Embassy, the event’s program includes setting a world record for performing Ukraine’s national anthem simultaneously in 50 countries of the world, and joining hands to form a live chain as part of the global initiative #TheFreeWorldGathering.
The event will take place at the Macedonia Square in downtown Skopje, starting at 2 pm.
