Brussels, 27 March 2025 (MIA) - Two patients who were injured in the nightclub fire in Kochani and flown to Belgium for medical care have traveled to Skopje on Thursday after successful treatment and recovery, MIA reports from Brussels.  

Last Wednesday, four people injured in the tragic fire in Kochani were flown to Belgium on a special aircraft of the Romanian Armed Forces, in coordination with the EU, and admitted to hospitals in the cities of Brussels, Antwerp and Charleroi.

A large number of Macedonians living in Belgium offered free accommodation and transportation to the family members of the injured, and the Embassy provided translators to help the burn patients and their relatives communicate with the Belgian medical staff.

"Thank you to all our citizens in Belgium who showed strong solidarity and interest in helping," Macedonian Ambassador to Belgium, Metodija Belevski, said on the return of the two patients.
